Apple is cookin’ up somethin’ super cool, and it’s gonna blow your mind! They’re workin’ on this AI thingamajig that can legit tell how you’re feelin’ just from your Apple Watch. You know, like that movie with Tom Cruise, but without the creepy stuff.
So, according to this dude Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, Apple’s got this secret project called Quartz. They’re workin’ on it with peeps from different teams, like the Siri squad and the health gang. The idea is to help peeps live healthier lives, like eating better, working out, or sleeping more (cuz who doesn’t need more sleep, amirite?).
The new journaling app planned for iOS 17 isn’t a health initiative and unrelated to mood tracking. It’s a way to add more features/social network-like functionality to Find My and location services. It will let you journal, for example, a walk to work. https://t.co/4s2psEmNd9

Apple wants to combine all that data from your Apple Watch with some AI magic to create personalized workout plans or suggestions, just for you. And this health service might drop next year, probably as a standalone app with a monthly subscription (cuz, you know, Apple’s gotta make that dough 💸).
But, hey, don’t get too excited. Gurman says this thing might be delayed or even canceled, so don’t go throwin’ a party just yet. However, we might see some early features this year, like an emotion tracker in the Health app, where you can log your mood and stuff.
Apple’s got big plans for health and AI, peeps. They’re even workin’ on a mixed-reality headset that helps you meditate and some other fancy health stuff, like blood pressure monitoring and noninvasive glucose monitoring, all on your Apple Watch.
So, fingers crossed 🤞, and let’s see what Apple’s got in store for us in the future. Stay tuned!
