Available from today, July 8, Salomon‘s new Race Flag Capsule celebrates the brand’s performance heritage through the iconic colors and signature details that have made it a benchmark in both mountain sports and outdoor-inspired lifestyle. Founded in the French Alps in 1947, Salomon originally designed its footwear for hiking and trail performance. Today, however, its technical silhouettes have become a fashion staple, worn far beyond the mountains as an everyday choice in cities around the world.

At the heart of the capsule is the XT-4 OG, reintroduced in its original construction while retaining the stability and technical features that have made it one of Salomon’s most recognizable silhouettes. The model embodies the competitive spirit and relentless pursuit of performance that continue to define the brand’s DNA.
The Race Flag Capsule revolves around Salomon’s historic three-color palette: yellow, symbolizing victory and achievement; blue, representing competitive spirit and the constant pursuit of new goals; and red, embodying the commitment, determination and sacrifice behind every performance. Together, these three colors reflect Salomon’s sporting heritage and the values that continue to drive the brand forward.
