This season, FAÇON JACMIN unveils The Morning After, a SS26 collection inspired by the iconic annual cocktail hosted at the Wallonie-Bruxelles Délégation.
Yesterday, politicians, artists, media figures, and fashion night owls gathered under one roof.
And the morning after the collection comes to life like a Polaroid of that very moment: messy hair, smudged makeup, silhouettes hunting down their clothes… yet always with that signature Belgian ease and instinctive elegance.
The brand’s Belgian design DNA takes a fresh turn this season: vibrant colors meet soft pastels, layered with mirrored effects and trompe-l’oeil illusions that play with perception, just like those blurry early hours after a long night. Fabrics are selected to move and shift with the wearer, evoking those rushed moments when you throw on a jacket or layer a t-shirt over a dress to dash out the door.
Façon Jacmin designed a wardrobe that’s both practical and versatile, made for people who live fast-paced, ever-changing lives. A little chaotic, but remarkably efficient: clothes you can throw on without thinking, silhouettes that hold up even after an all-nighter, and subtle sporty touches that add vitality and ease to every look.
The show’s scenography carries the concept further with three immersive tableaus: models waking up across the room, fixing their makeup, or running late for work like a contemporary theatre of everyday life.
