Fiorucci’s new collection emerges from an imaginative spark between the multicultural concreteness of Via Paolo Sarpi and a place suspended between dream and reality: an ideal square, a surreal and emotional stage where fashion becomes a space of freedom, connection, and transformation.
Fiorucci creates a universe where the line between real and fantastical blurs: a cinematic set with a suburban twist, where humans and cartoon figures coexist in harmony. Time seems to pause in intense, emotional, suspended moments. Irony and lightness mingle with disarming sweetness in a visual narrative where color becomes its own expressive, vibrant language. In this story, everyday life merges with surreal elements, creating a vibrant, immersive atmosphere. The set design recreates an urban scene with intentionally artificial and pop details billboards and graphic references full of hidden gems and “easter eggs”, giving the show a powerful visual and symbolic identity. Contrast drives the collection’s entire aesthetic: tender yet sensual, exaggerated yet pure, everyday yet dreamlike, urban with a fairytale twist.
Each piece becomes a tool to play with imagination, redefine identity, and turn the ordinary into the extraordinary. It’s a new era, one of freedom, where the self becomes a canvas in constant motion. The stylistic proposal reflects this vision through body-hugging silhouettes. T-shirts shrink into fitted baby tees, waists cinch and rise, skirts become tube styles, and pants morph into leggings. Heart-shaped tops enhance the décolleté, while structured, wavy ruffles turn into ironic belts that look like they stepped out of a comic strip. The iconic Fiorucci lips appear as bras, micro tops, or accessories, like the new Lips Bag, offered in both mini and maxi versions.
Visually striking prints play with romantic icons reimagined in a pop, ironic key: angels, hearts, and cupids meet stripes that burst into popcorn, polka dots that morph into hearts, multicolored toys, and poodles adorned with bows.
Artist Janine Zaïs collaborated on the show, turning models into true living artworks with cartoon-style body painting. One standout figure features a model with her face painted to resemble a dog’s snout, matched with an all-over print outfit, an embodiment of the show’s playful, transformative spirit.
Styling played a pivotal role too, emphasizing the collection’s graphic, playful aesthetic with tongue-in-cheek accessories like t-shirts and caps bearing the affectionate and provocative slogan: “Make Hearts Beat Again.” Volume takes center stage at the shoulders, strong and sculpted featured in dresses with clean yet fluid lines.
The color palette revolves around three key shades red, sky blue, and white applied to materials that explore transparency and texture. Tulle, mesh, and nude sheaths interact with recycled PVC, technical nylon, and sporty fabrics like polyester cavalry, polynylon jersey, and Lycra. Classics aren’t left out: from crêpe de chine to chiffon, cady to bull denim and oxford alongside innovations like silicon-treated finishes, paper-like Tyvek, and glossy coatings.
