Anthony Vaccarello, the creative director for Saint Laurent, is collaborating with the eminent American artist Madonna to commemorate the 30th anniversary of her contentious yet monumental book “Sex” by co-creating an exhibition at Art Basel in Miami.
First issued in 1992, the book made media headlines and received criticism for its explicit nature, though notably, it sold around 1.5 million copies nationwide. Subsequently, the book became positively regarded for its cultural and social influence.

The exhibition will showcase large print photographs taken by Steven Meisel. Alongside tokens such as tote bags and t-shirts, there will be 800 copies of the reissued book, with a few signed, which will be auctioned off for the singers’ Raising Malawi Charity at a later date.
The exhibition will be available for individuals aged 18 and over from the 29th of November to the 4th of December.
