Photographers Peetsamm @peetsamm, a pair of twin siblings that already have experience as models, decided to become photographers so they could both create unique work by their special boding. Alongside an amazing team, they present Gravity. Our true connection to Earth, a fashion editorial exclusively created for Vanity Teen online with the model Gregorio Smith @gregoriosmithmedina represented by Grupo4 Management @grupo4co.
This editorial focuses on the idea of finding our true connection to Earth, especially during these days where the real world is ruled by the digital world. The team had in mind to use contrasting colors but harmoniously with the landscape of the location they chose, as an expression of that connection they wanted to tell with this story. We also wanted a mixture of the touch that you have when connecting,” says the team. “Related to the ground, mud, the water in the river, air and the mist in the mountains of Choachi.”
“In times were humans feel disorientated, overwhelmed by technologies, information and with easy access to the internet, we felt like it is important to dig deeper and find our true connection to Earth, that one that gives us calm and remind us of the most beautiful a treasures we truly have.”
The equipment used to create this story was a Nikon D5600 camera with a 35mm lens, and it took place at the Hykatá Wild Camp in Choachi, a little town near Bogota.
